About us

Hugo Stiehl GmbH was founded in 1919 by Robert Hugo Stiehl as a small manufacturing business. Today it is a family-owned company with 225 employees, based in the Saxon Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains).

Our core business is the manufacture of plastic injection moulded parts. We deal with all aspects of injection moulding. Our network of specialists means that we can take products all the way from the initial concept through to mass production. Our business is focused on the most up-to-date product requirements and on providing forward-looking solutions.

Our products are certified to the following national and international standards: DIN EN ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949 and DIN EN ISO 50001.
